Netbook Reflection

 Why I like using the netbook is because its very cool. I like my netbook because you can search to find things that you don’t know about. It’s more better to type in a netbook than write in a book because you can make heaps of mistakes and use the rubber all the time. As for the netbook you can delete the mistakes with a press of a button.


A bad thing about the netbook is that I have to remember to charge my netbook.

kawau Camp 2012

I went to kawau Island camp for a week. It was for the year 6 camp.

My favorite activity was kayaking we went to  see some sting rays. It was cool to see them up close. There were
very big and little sting rays.

The next favorite activity was sailing. We had to put on
our life jacket to be safe, then we got into the sail boat.
To steer the sailing boat, we have to use the tiller.

Sometimes we got to have free time,we went for a swim and I jumped off the pontoon with my friend. It was very cool then Mr J told us to go for a shower. Yay there it dinner time.

Kawau Island

I can`t wait to go to Kawau Island. We are going to kayak and do sailing and swimming it will be very cool. I can`t wait for tomorrow when I get there I want to do sailing.


Sailing is cool then we will do kayaking with my friend
Evan it will be very cool we will go far.Then we will be swimming then we will have dinner next we go to sleep.

Summer

I went to the beach it was hot
like a very hot pot.
And in the water were some boats in the water the boats float.
Today is a very hot day
I do like hot days I say.

The Flying Fish

1. We have to draw a line at the edge of the paper

2. Then put the string where you put the line at the edge of the paper.

3. Then put  the glue where you are going to fold the paper then fold the paper over the string

4.Then glue the other page of edge fold the paper into a circle

5. Then make a hole where the string is when you have put the string in the hole then tied the string onto the stick.

My popper birthday

On Sunday it was my poppers birthday .Me and my brothers had to stay home because my popper was coming over. My popper arrived then we went to valentines. There was heaps of nice food I ate butter chicken it was very nice.

My Labour Weekend

In the weekend I went to my friend`s house we played the wii game. Next we played the sims then Evan came over to my friend`s house. We played zombies I was pretending to shoot Evan in the game.

Then we played buzz I was winning the game then we played  mummy one it was hard. Next we played was
star wars then I went home and had something to eat.
Then I went to sleep.

my story

After school I went home then I went to my friend house. I was going pass pt england shop then I heard inside the shop a big smash and a girl crying for help. I did on what to
do I was scared.

I call 111 but it did work so I ran to the back I saw some robbers. They are talking money then I saw a man and I said help call the police.

The police came and they caught them. Then the police
took them to jail.Then I went back home.

Auckland Musem

In the holidays I went to the Auckland Museum with my cousin. We went into the volcano room the earthquake  gave me a fright. Because I was sitting on the ground when the earthquake happened my cousin was laughing
at me then we went to see the kinas. Next we went to see
the lizards there was two green ones and a brown one that I couldn’t really see because it was blending in the tree. After that we went to Macs at kay streets to have to a feed.

The Little Red Bus

The little red  bus broke down and a Mechanic came to fix it.

White Tail Spider

I would like to keep a white tail spider for a pet because they look very cool and scary. White tail spider come from Australia. It has red and black legs with white fur at the back.The spider has venom in his fangs
it uses the poison to kill other spiders and insects. If a white tail gets stuck in clothing or gets squashed in a shoe it will bite you.

olympics day

yesterday we had olympics day. I was in mexico my team
was cool .we wear in colours we went to play games the first game we play was hand ball. We lost that game.

Then we went to the next game it was sitting volleyball. We won at volley ball it was a cool game I like it we won 4 games.Then we went to play 4 square we lost that game.It was hard they beat as by 1.

Next game we went to was ailment frecabe. it was hard to.We lost to socttland then. We went to rounders it was a cool game we won I like it I got a home run.

At The Beach

At the Pt England beach me and my friends we went on the new playground, I said lets go to the big
rock and look for some big crabs. It was slippery and very windy.

My friend found a big crab at the bottom of the rock. It
got rough my friend was falling down he slipped off the
rock and he hit his head on the rock then he went into the water I had to pull him out.

I pull him out he was unconscious I yelled for help!! I saw the adult he came down I said he is unconscious then
he gave his mouth to mouth and starting pushing his chest
spat water out of his saved his life me and my friend were

happy.

Mixed Activities day

First activity we had to do,was jump jam we did it for a little awhile with Ms M. Then next went to Mrs Tele`a to watch different movies to relax,it was cool.The last activity we
did was sing star with Mr J, I felt nervous.

Yesterday morning I made some hot chips,I peeled the potatoes then I cut it into little and big shapes. Next we put in the chips in boiling oil so it can be cooked and crunchy,when it was ready I ate it,tasted yummy!!

My Weekend

In the weekend I went to my art class with my Aunty Sherie she drop me off in town. Then I had to finish of my person,I had to wrap it in tin foil to make it look big. Then I put bandages on my person. Then I waited for it to dry,next I painted my person red,then we went home.

The Weekend

In the weekend my auntie and uncle took me to town,where I go to my art class I had to make a man. I made it out of wire and tin foil it was hard to do but it looked cool. Then I went to my Auntie’s house,my poppa came to take me back home. I had dinner and then went to sleep. What a day I had!

Basket Ball

On Wednesday after lunch we went to basket ball out on the courts,then
we got into groups. Then I dribble the ball to get to the cones so I can get
a point for my time.Then we went into the hall we played shooting the ball it was cool.

Harold

Yesterday my class room went into the Harold bus we learned about our
brain, they can control our body parts. We had to make bad or good decisions. Then we watched a movie it was about a boy who did not
have any breakfast and he missed the bus then he had to walked to school.

My fantastic Holiday!

In the Holiday I went to the Art gallery with my Auntie and my brother.
I got to draw a flower, then my Auntie booked me into art class.

Then we
went to the movies to watch Ice age 4 in 3D it was cool. Then we went to
get some lunch I had subway.

my half of the day

On Sunday I went to my Aunty’s house to watch a movie with my Uncle Tim.  My Aunty and I went to see my Poppa Pete at the RSA in Orakei, we went to help him clean up.  My cousin and and I helped put the empty bottles in the recycling bin and we wiped down the tables. When we had finished we went to the flea market to get some vegetables. On the way home we went to Glen Innes to get some lunch.

Snakes and Ladders

The first thing we did is choose are counter I had the green counter. Then I roll the dice it was number ten then I move it to ten.Then I had to
wait for my turn. if you go on a snakes you have to go down. If you go on
a ladder you can go up the ladder.

The Doctor

I went to the doctor with my dad and we had to wait in the waiting room. Then we went to the doctor’s room with my dad we sat down. My dad
talked to the doctor, he said, “my boy has a sore ear”.The doctor had a look at my ear and he said, “it looks red inside your ear”. The doctor gave me medicine to take home.

Plaiting

The first thing we had to do was cut in strips.Then I had to start weaving my fish. I used blue and yellow paper.It was hard I had go over and under. Then It was finished.   

In the Weekend

On Friday night I went to Hamilton with my Auntie and my brother. We went to see her son and her grandson.It was a long drive to get to Hamilton. When we got there we watched a movie it was cool.

The Weekend

On the Queen Birthday Monday I went to my friend house. We went on

the play station to play the Sim`s. It was a two player game, it was cool. Then we played on the trampoline.

Pukeko morning

The Pukeko wakes up early in the morning then goes to the pond for a wash. When she got there she jumps into the pond then starts to wash her feathers. Next she combs the feathers with her beak then she dries her wings in the sun, scratches an itch with her claw. After that she has breakfast.

Banana

It looks like a phone and it is yellow some has brown spots.It is nice and smooth with a rubbery feel to the skin.It feels squishy in my mouth and sweet too and the banana taste like pessimon.

Van Gogh's Sunflowers

Van Gogh painted sunflowers because his friend was moving in.
He was happy because he did bright colours in this picture.He was using big and bold strokes the main colour is yellow.
