The best thing about this year

 The best thing about this year was year 8 camp. Camp was fun and and some times funny the things we did was cooking in a fire. And played games when it was free time .We went there for 4 days and 3 nights the name of the camp was Marsden point.Then we came back to school.

And the next best thing this year a cool thing my class. went to a art pace we did some cool art for some of the day. We had to draw some thing about me then we went looking at some art work. Then we went back to school.

Frist Day At Camp

The first day of camp we got  my bags packed. Then I had to take my bags into the hall we were all waiting for the bus.

When the bus got to school we put all our bags in the bus ready to leave. Then we got on the bus with a buddie for the day. My buddie was Sonny we had to wait for the teacher to get the bus then we were leaving.

We stop and went for a big hike miss said it was going to be short but it took most of the day, the hike was wet and slippery we had to walk in a line through the hole walk.

The next thing we did was we went to the beach when we got to the beach the bus were there. We stayed there for a little bit some people went for a sim and some people play games.

After that we went back on the bus we saw cool house on the way to camp. When we got there all of us had to take all the bags out of the two bus, then the owr of the camp came out to talk to us he said what to go and not to go on, after we got our bags and took to our rooms the people in my room was Sonny, Jayden, Paris, Evan and Heary  .

Then we had free time to play games some people went for a shower

the things we did was some of us played volleyball and played on the swing.

after that we went to have dinner. For dinner we all the year 8s had salad, chicken, roast vegetables and beatroute.Then we had dessert it was yum.

Then we waited for the dishers to finished we went back to play then. We had to go on the deck for a meeting the teacher told are groups you had to make a torrent then we went make one.

Then all us went into the hall we played some games we played spot light in the dark after that we got ready for bed.
       

 

First day back for the last team

When back for the last team for the year  when I walk in to the we had class 5 in my class then our teacher told as be one hole class for this

team I think its cool. Then we had make up a name for are new class

some people like it and some don’t like it but I good for change.

My Cross country

The day of the cross country when we went to line up at the start I felt like I was good to go. But what if I trip over where the start is.?

Then Mr Burt started the race with the clappers. Mr Burt slammed the clappers together next everyone ran off, I ran in the middle of the people. I did feel a thing .

In tlie I ran to half way I stop and started to walk then I said to myself

don’t give up next I put one foot after the other.

After a while I was gasping for air there was squelch mud under my feet. but I could see the finish line I am on my way to the finish line.

I saw four people running to the finish then I said to myself ‘give it my all’, I started to run to the finish I passed three.

“Yes,” I said. I felt happy it was over.

MTV Reflection

In class 1 we had an MTV challenge but the challenge was to manage are self in a time we were given. My group was the year 8 boys. Are song was heal the world by Michael Jackson. I manage myself well because I help with the lip syncing and help with the filming. We finished our movie first, it was fun filming and being in the movie. Life Ed

We have been going to the life Ed caravan this is what I have learned.

Drugs don’t choose people , people choose drugs.It Can damage your brain it can kills your brain cells. All medicines are drugs but not all drugs are medicines and all drugs can kill your lungs in your body, that is why people should stay away from drug.

My Mascot

We were learning about mascot’s and it’s job’s, like at the Commonwealth games. So then we had a task to create our own mascot pretending that the next Commonwealth games were going to be in New Zealand.

We have been making a mascot my mascots name is Taro. He is a mix of Kiwi, Tui and Tatar. I chose these animals because they’re important to New Zealand. Taro is the mascot that checks on everyone at the Commonwealth games to make sure they are OK.

On Tuesday I and my class went to G.I pools. When I got into the pool it felt refreshing. Then we got a flutter boards the instant told as work on are kicking with the flutter board. Then we work on are on with out the flutter board .

Sound is simply vibrations, sound is started by energy or moving molecules. Sounds can be pleasant unpleasant, high, low, soft and hard. We use sound everyday for example we use sound to communicate, listen to music, or even stay safe(alarms).
